Information: DEATH CLAIMS WM. H. H. RARDON - AGED HEMLOCK FARMER IS TAKEN BY DEATH AT HIS HOME - William Henry ?. Rardon, son of David and Susann Rardon, was born June 30, 1853. Died Feb. 2, 1938, age 84 years, 7 months and 2 days. On Sept. 19, 1878 he was united in marriage to Sarah Catherine Derenberger. To this union was born 9 children, 5 boys and 4 girls, namely: Holly and Okey of Akron, Ardell of Spencer, Alman of Wellsville, Ohio, David of Hebron, Ohio, Mrs. Sylvia Elkins of Ashford, Mrs. Blanche Nichols, Ravenswood Rt. 1, Mrs. Edna Shockey of Letart Falls, Ohio, at whose home he was at the time of his death. One daughter, Flossie, preceded him in death several years ago. One foster son also survives. One brother and one sister of Sherman; 34 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In the year 1898 he was converted and joined the Methodist Protestant church at Pleasant Hill, of which he lived a faithful christian until the end. His home was always open to all ministers and friends. On several occasions he expressed his readiness and willingness to meet his Savior. Everything was done that kind hands and loving hearts could do, but to no avail, the Gentle Master said ""come"" so he gently closed his eyes, and went to his home beyond the skies. Dearest daddy, you have left us, A voice we loved is stilled, A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled.
