Information: Dessie Rardon, 85, of Piedmont, South Carolina, died May 20, 1988, at Greenville, S.C., after a brief illness.  She was a former teacher in West Virginia and a homemaker.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Spencer.  Surviving:  sons, Earl D. of Piedmont, S.C., and Carl W. of Ashland, Ky.; daughters, Mrs. Patrick (Jean) Riggs of Farmingdale, N. Y. and Mrs. Shearl (Lois) Edler of Sidney, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Monday, May 23, 1988, at Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Lester Walker officiating.  Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery.
