  <p>Information:               Funeral services for John RARDIN, 75 year old farmer of Sherman, were held from the Chambers-Kyger Funeral Home in Ravenswood last Friday afternoon with the Rev. Paul SUTTON of the Methodist Church officiating and burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery.  Mr. RARDIN died at his home on Wednesday.  He had been in failing health for a number of years.  He was a brother of the late P. H. RARDIN who died only a few weeks ago.  His wife, Mrs. Margaret (COOPER) RARDIN and a daughter, Mrs. Erma DURNBERGER, both preceded him in death.  Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ella HOWARD and Mrs. Mollie SLAVEN, both of Sherman.  (from the obituary collection of Betty Kessel McIntyre)</p>
