Information: DEATH CLAIMS AGED TEACHER-Funeral services were held at the Antioch church Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Belle Rardin, 87 year old retired school teacher, and the burial was in the church cemetery.  She died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Amy Carper, at Henlawson, Logan county, on Friday. The body was brought to the Vail funeral home in Ripley, where it remained until time for the service Sunday afternoon.  Mrs. Rardin did not retire from teaching until she was 72 years old and held a record for long tenure in the state schools.  She leaves a son, Raleigh Rardin of Cincinnati; four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas of Ripley, Mrs. Jessie Carper of Dunbar, Mrs. Amy Carper of Henlawson, and Mrs. Irene Coe of Ripley; 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.   OBITUARY - Nancy Belle Rardin was born on July 1, 1863, died Jan. 4, 1951.  She was the daughter of Ephriam and Mazilla Sayre.  She was united in marriage to Robert Brown Rardin, who died in 1939.  She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Irene Coe of Ceredo, Mrs. Amy Carper of Logan, Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas of Ripley, Mrs. Jessie Carper of Dunbar; one son, Raleigh Rardin of Cincinnati; 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.  One daughter, Mrs. Pauline Stowers, preceded her in death several years ago.  She was a retired teacher, having taught for a period of more than 40 years.  She had been a member of the United Brethren church since girlhood.
