Information:      Elbin G. Boggess, 76, of Ripley died Nov. 7, 2001, at his home.  He was born March 1, 1925 in Romance, Jackson County, WV., a son of the late Addie E. and Lessie Koontz Boggess.  He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and a life member of Sandyville Post #3488.  He was a steel worker with Republic Steel in Cleveland with 37 years of service.  In addition to is parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Willard Boggess, Hillard Ray Boggess, and John S. Boggess.   He is survived by four brothers, Laco Boggess of Kenna, W.Va., Arnold Boggess of Hurricane, W.Va., Freeman Boggess of Ripley, and Windell of Rochester, Pa.; two sisters, Mary Keller of South Charleston and Ida Mae Moore of Hendersonville, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.  Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 9, at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Rev. Herman Robinson officiating.  Burial will be in Emma Chapel Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, is in charge of arrangements.
