  <p>Information: RAINES FUNERAL HELD ON SATURDAY - Funeral services for Benjamin Raines, 87-year-old Ripley resident, were held at the Parsons funeral home Saturday afternoon with Rev. Robert F. Evans officiating and the burial was in Otterbein cemetery.  Mr. Raines died at his home here Wednesday after being in failing health for some time.  He was born May 24, 1876, son of George W. and Louisa Parsons Raines and was a member of the Sidneyville EUB church.  Survivors include his widow, Mary Slaughter Raines; five sons, Blaire Raines, Marshall, Texas, Sterling Raines, Ida, La., Clair Raines, Streetsboro, Ohio, Clyde Raines, Elsmere, Ky. and Carlton Raines, U.S. Army, Berlin, N. J.  Also surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Louisa Combs, Mineral Wells, Mrs. Elaine Rowley and Mrs. Martha Hamon, both of Ripley, Mrs. Delcie Aylar, Elsmere, Ky., and Mrs. Doris Randolph, Racine, O.; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Livingston, Scott Depot, W. Va.; 32 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.</p>
