Information: Thomas J. Rader died in the Deerman Hospital at Reedy at 3 o'clock Monday morning from injuries received ten hours earlier when a horse which he was riding fell, dashing him to the ground with great force. He was rendered unconscious and expired without rallying. According to statements of attending physicians, death was due to concussion of the brain. Mr. Rader was a member of the Jackson County's most prominent families and was well known in this community where he had resided all his life. He was a son of William and Mary E. Rader, deceased, and was in his 59th year. He is survived by his widow and three daughters, Misses Goldia, Greta and Bertha Rader, and six brothers, B. F. Rader of Ripley, W. L. Rader of Creston, George A. and Harrison Rader, both of Pennsylvania, Keeny Rader of Texas, and J. M. Rader, who resides on the home place, to whom the sincere sympathy of the entire community goes out in this dark hour of berevement. The funeral services were conducted from the Mt. Olive Southern Methodist Church, of which the deceased was a member, in the presence of a large crowd of friends and relatives. (McIntyre)
