Information: MRS SARAH RADER DEAD - Mrs. Sarah Rader, age 72, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. T. Royle, at Akron, Ohio, Thursday of last week at 2:00 a.m. She had been in rather poor health for some time, but pneumonia was supposed to have been the immediate cause of her death. The remains were brought to Ripley Saturday evening. Funeral services were held at nine o'clock Sunday morning in the M. E. Church South, conducted by Rev. H. W. Ware and burial was made in the Mt. Olive cemetery at 2 p.m. Mrs. Rader, with her family, formerly resided at Ripley where she was held in high esteem by the entire community. Her beautiful Christian character won her many friends and her passing is mourned with deep feelings of sorrow by all who knew her. ----- Sarah Frances Rader was born June 23, 1854, and departed this life March 18, 1926; age 72 years and 5 months. Was converted and joined the M. E. Church, South April 2, 1878. She was married to Thomas Rader May 15, 1888. To this union four children were born, three girls and one son. The son having gone on before and the husband passing away 12 years ago. The deceased is survived by three daughters--Mrs. Golda Royle and Mrs. Gretta Southwick, of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Bertha Kieter, of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, D. M. Hogsett, of North Platte, Neb.; one sister, Mrs. G. R. Casto, of Millwood, W. Va.; and seven grandchildren. Those out of town attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Southwick and Mrs. William Hossler, of Akron, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Richmond M. Faulkner, of North Platte, Neb., and Mr. and Mrs. Will King, of Evans.
