Information: CARROLL RADER DIES UNEXPECTEDLY AS HE WALKED IN COURT HOUSE LAWN   Carroll Karr Rader, 40 years old dropped dead in the public square at Ripley last Wednesday morning presumably of a heart attack. He was walking up one of the walks on the south side of the court house when he was stricken.  He fell dead before persons who were nearby reached him. He was an employee of the Ward Winter Construction Company.  That morning he complained of feeling ill and one of the company vehicles brought him downtown where he stopped at the Alpine Hotel and had a cup of coffee and then started across the square to his home. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Baptist Temple and during his high school career was a star player on the Ripley Viking football team.  Services were held from the home Friday afternoon with Rev. J. W. Burch officiating and the burial was in the Pine Hill cemetery. He was the son of the late B. F. and Sallie Karr Rader and was born at Ripley and spent his life there. Survivors include two sons, Robert Richard and David Michael, and two daughters, Sara Sue and Carolyn Lee, all at home; one brother, Frank Rader of Salem, Va., and two sisters, Mrs. Nell Guinther of Marlington and Grace Graham of Ripley.
