Information: RADER RITES HELD TUESDAY - Ripley lost one of its oldest residents Sunday morning when Alonso Rader died at 11 o'clock at the home of his son, W. R. Rader, after a long illness. He would have been 90 years old on August 12. Mr. Rader was born August 12, 1860, a son of the late George and Nancy Miller Rader. A native of this county, he was one of the few who could remember the pioneer days of this section. Besides the son with whom he made his home, he is survived by two other sons, Louis Rader of Akron, and G. W. Rader, who resides in a southern state; three daughters, Mrs. Harriet Peterson of Akron, Mrs. Martha Shriner of Urichville, Ohio, and Mrs. R. O. Cook of Ingram, Pa. and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Vail funeral home in Ripley with Rev. L. R. Mahoney, pastor of the United Brethren church officiating. Burial was made in the Mt. Olive cemetery.
