Information: Funeral services were conducted at the Fairview Methodist Church Saturday, with the Rev. Ezra Higgins officiating, for Mrs. Zelma Fouts Pursley, of Leroy, who died Thursday morning at her home after a long illness.  She was born in Tyler County on Feb. 18, 1888, the daughter of the late C. E. and Rosa Mason Fouts.  She was a member of the Fairview Methodist Church and the widow of Homer Pursley.  Surviving are seven sons, Orville, Glenn, Cecil and Awyard Pursley, all of Leroy; Denzil and Ray Pursley, Mineral Wells; three daughters, Mrs. Rosa Tallman, Leroy, Mrs. Edna Weekley, Sandyville, and Mrs. Eupha Thompson, Beaver, Pa.; two brothers, Laymond Fouts, Youngstown, Ohio, Therman Fouts, Akron, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Moncries, Lowell, Ohio; 39 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.  Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
