  <p>Information: William C. ""Bill"" Pursley, 60, of Ripley, died Tuesday, August 12, 2003, at home.  He was born December 20, 1942 in Jackson County, a son of the late Basil and Mary Smith Pursley.  He was a bricklayer and a member of the Rising Sun Church.  He is survived by his wife, Dottie Hall Pursley of Ripley; brothers, Cread, Carl and Jimmy Pursley, all of Ripley and three sisters, Faye Atkinson of Little Hocking OH, Mary Ellen Baker of East Liverpool OH, and Bobbie Justice of Ripley.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Austin Pursley.  Funeral services were held Friday, August 15, 2003, at Vail Funeral Home in Ripley with the Rev. Creal Kerns officiating.  Burial in the Duffield Cemetery, Clay County.</p>
