Information: SANDYVILLE MAN DIES IN TRACTOR ACCIDENT - Ray Russell Pursley, 62, of Sandyville, died Friday, Feb. 26, 1988, from injuries sustained in a tractor accident.  He was born in Jackson County, Dec. 20, 1925, a son of the late Homer and Zelma Pursley.  He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum of Ravenswood.  He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Junior OUAM of Pee Wee.  Survivors include his wife, Ruth Mason Pursley; four sons, Arthur, David and Randy, all of Sandyville, and Gary of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Patricia Henry of Sandyville and Debbie Amos of Leroy; four brothers, Cecil and Ayward of Leroy, Denzil of Sandyville and Rex of Palestine; three sisters, Rosa Tallman of Leroy, Edna Weekley of Sandyville and Eupha Thompson of Beaver, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.  Services were Monday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Bernard Vandergriff officiating.  Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
