Information: Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda C. Puckett were held at the Vail Funeral Home here Monday with the Rev. Vairl Winters of the Baptist Church officiating and the burial was in the Morgan cemetery.  Mrs. Puckett died Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Balser at Comet where she had been staying for several weeks helping to care for Mrs. Balser.  She was 86 years, 11 months, and five days of age at the time of her death.  She was the widow of the late Finley Puckett and is survived by two sons, Raymond and Floyd, both of Ripley; the sister, Mrs. Rosa Balser; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
