Information: W. M. Pruden died Saturday at Hemlock after several weeks illness from stomach and bowel trouble.  He was nearly 80 years old and had resided in Jackson County since early manhood.  He was a Federal soldier, served in the 4th West Virginia Cavalry.  He was married three times, all three of his wives being dead.  Four children survive him, Matt, Sam, Mrs. Tom Weaver, and Mrs. Myrtle Sayre, all of East Liverpool, Ohio.  All but Matt, who is in Roanoke, Virginia, were present at the funeral, which occurred Sunday, conducted by Rev. G. L. Harrison.  Burial at Lathem Ridge.  [From Ravenswood News]   (McIntyre)
