  <p>Information: Harold Lloyd Proffitt, 57, of Portland, Ohio, died August 17 in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, of an apparent heart attack.  He was a farmer and Merchant Mariene Veteran of World War II.  He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Portland, Ohio.  Surviving: wife, Eulah; daughters, Patricia Cozart of Sandyville, Sandy Mapson of Champagne, Ill., Candy Cox of Ravenswood; sons, Danny of Martinsville Ind., Randy of Goose Creek, SC; mother, Pearl Proffitt of Portland, Ohio; brothers, Jim of Milton, Fla., Chester of Lisbon, Ohio, Roy of Lewisville, Ohio, Raymond of Portland, Ohio, Homer of Racine, Ohio; five grandchildren.  Service was Saturday in Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Portland, Ohio, with Elder Evin Ervin officiating.  Burial was in Great Bend Cemetery, Portland, Ohio.  Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, was in charge of arrangements.</p>
