Information: RIPLEY - Laura Bethany Powers, 102, of Ripley, died Feb. 12, 1995, at home after a long illness.  She was a domestic care-giver and charter member of Ephesus Baptist Church, Grasslick.  Surviving:  son, Carl O. of Spring Hill, Fla.; daughter, Grace Madan of Coral Gables, Fla.; sister, Cazzie Snyder of Ripley; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.  Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Ripley Tabernacle with the Rev. William Sullivan officiating.  Burial will be in Fairplain Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4 to 8 p. m. Wednesday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans.
