  <p>Information: Robert L. Posten, 84, of Sandyville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 14, 2012, at his home following a long illness. He was born November 18, 1927 at Parkersburg, a son of the late Robert and Catherine Snyder Posten.  He retired from Kaiser Aluminum and enjoyed farming, hunting, and trading. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Geraldine Posten; brothers, Shirley Posten and Lewis Posten; and a sister, Hattie Somerville; and two great-grandchildren.  He is survived by his beloved children, Charlotte Beasley and her husband Stan of Silverton, Roger Posten and his wife Sandra of Charleston, Randall Posten and his wife Linda of Manassas VA, Polly Parsons and her husband  Pastor S. R. of Fairplain WV, Rhonda Kennedy and her husband Bill of Mineral Wells, Eileen Tackett and her husband Bobby of Ripley WV; sister, Opal Somerville of Elizabeth WV; also survived by 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.  Funeral service will be 1 pm Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor S. R.
