  <p>Information: Floyd Pompie, 64, of Ravenswood, died Friday, Feb. 2, 1990 at Jackson General Hospital, after a short illness.  He was born in Mercer County, a son of the late Joe and Phyllis Fares Pompie.  He was a retired general foreman with Kaiser Aluminum where he worked for 24 years, and was a U. S. Air Force veteran of World War II.  He was a member of Greenhills Country Club, Ravenswood.  He is survived by his wife, Maxine Terry Pompie of Ravenswood; one daughter, Theresa Barton of Point Pleasant; three brothers, Virgil Pompie of Coal City, W. Va., Bill Pompie of Fort McCoy, Fla., Angelo Pompie of Josephine, W. Va.  Services were held Monday at the Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood.  Burial was in the Jackson County Memory Gardens at Cottageville.</p>
