Information: Funeral services for Walter Weston Polsley, for many years a resident of Kenna, Jackson county, WV, were held at Ewington, Ohio on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial was in the cemetery there. He was born Dec. 10, 1862 and died Feb. 11, 1948, the son of Weston and Harriett Rine Polsley. He was twice married, first to Nancy C. Ridenour and to this union the following were born: Ollie, died in infancy, Alice Fisher of Fairplain WV, Verna Casto of Kenna, and Mrs. Edna Rollins of Mt. Alto. His wife died July 1894. On Dec. 25, 1895 he was united in marriage to Donie E. Skeen and to this union were born the following children: Weston Polsley of Vinton, Ohio, Myrtle Cummings, Mayme Bee and Wirt Polsley of Akron, Ohio, May Bobo of Canel Winchester, Ohio, Warren Polsley of Logan, Ohio, Harry S. Polsley and Belle Terry of Ewington, Ohio. Beside the widow and children, one sister, Rose Mason of Mt. Alto, 31 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren survive. Mr. Polsley, who was 85 years of age and who had been in failing health for several years, died at his home there last Thursday morning. The widow and several children, including Mrs. B. Cleo Casto of Kenna, Mrs. V. L. Fisher of Fairplain and Mrs. Edna Rollins of Mt. Alto, are mong the survivors. (McIntyre)
