Information: FORMER KENNA RESIDENT DEAD - Mrs. Donie Skeen Polsley, 88, died at the home at Ewington, Ohio, on Sunday of last week. She was the widow of the late W. W. Polsley and formerly lived at Kenna. She was born in Jackson county, W. Va., on July 2, 1878, a daughter of the late Peter and Charlotte Click Skeen. Her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1948. They went to Gallia county many years ago and operated a large stock farm. Mrs. Polsley is survived by four sons, four daughters, and two step-daughters, Warren Polsley and Mrs. Ronald (Mae) Bobo, both of Logan Ohio, Wirt Polsley, Mrs. J. B. (Myrtle) Cummings and Mrs. Earl (Mamie) Bee, all of Akron, Harry and Fred Polsley and Mrs. Belle Terry, all of Ewington, and step-daughters, Mrs. Verna Casto of Kenna and Mrs. Edna Rawlings of Letart, W. Va. Mrs. Polsley was a member of the Ewington Methodist church and services were held there at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27. Rev. Sidney Fadely officiated and burial was in Vinton Memorial Park, under the direction of the McCoy funeral home.
