  <p>Information: William Edgar Poling, Jr., 74, of Clendenin died April 14, 2000, in General Division, CAMC, after a long illness.  He was a retired instrument mechanic from Columbia Gas with 40 years&#39; service and a Navy veteran. Surviving:  wife, Delores June Poling; daughters, Mary Janet Caruthers of South Charleston, Patricia Yates of Kentuck; brother, Charles Poling of Gay; sister, Frances Geary of Lady Lake, Fla.; three grandchildren.  Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with the Rev. Orville Walker, officiating.  Burial will be in Cleek-Poling Cemetery, Kentuck.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.</p>
