Information: Beecher T. Poling, 82, of Route 2, Crown City, Ohio, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 1988, at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant.  He was born at Kentuck and was a retired farmer and coal miner.  Surviving:  wife, Ruby Mays Poling; Ronnie Skeen, whom he and his wife raised as their son; sisters, Mrs. Dessie Skeen of Ripley, Mrs. Dollie Staats and Hazel Poling, both of Charleston, Mrs. Reva Scott of Vienna; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.  Service was Saturday at Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home, Gallipolis, Ohio with the Rev. Orville Walker, officiating.  Burial was in Poling Cemetery, Kentuck.
