Information: The saddest news that has come to our people at Pleasant Hill for some time was the death of Mary Pinnell, daughter of Aldander and Dora Pinnell.  Mary was a good girl and loved by all who knew her.  She was converted and joined the M. E. Church, South, October 1910, under the ministry of B. C. Davis, and has lived a consistent and worthy member of the same.  Mary had been secretary of her home Sunday school for a number of years.  This place she filled to the satisfaction of all, and was often called one of the faithful.  Her presence ever an inspiration in every service.  Her death was a great shock and loss to the community and relatives, for like Dorcas, she was always ready to help the needy under all circumstances.  Mary Pinnell was born April 8th, 1887, died February 19, 1920, of pneumonia after only a few days illness.  She leaves to mourn their loss, father, mother, one sister, Lillian and six brothers, John W. of Huntington, Fred M. or Perry, Iowa, Perry, Paul, Walter and Otis, at home; two brothers having preceded her to the better land.  Our hearts go out in deep sympathy to the family in their sorrow.  The funeral service was held in her home church at Pleasant Hill in the presence of a large crowd of people, and the body laid to rest in the beautiful cemetery near by to wait the resurrection morn. ""Come, let the burial rite be read The funeral song be sung; An anthem for the queenliest dead That ever died so young"".        J. P. Slaughter, Pastor.
