  <p>Information: Walter D. Pifer, 86, of Belpre, Rt. 1, Ohio, died Jan. 15, 1991, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Oliver and Martha Kirkhart Pifer.  He had been a millwright at O. Ames Plant No. 2 until his retirement in 1966.  He was a member of the United Steelworkers of America.  He is survived by two sons, Walter E. Pifer of Vienna and Alvin T. ""Tom"" Pifer of Murraysville; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Logston of Rockport.  Services were held Thursday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. D. Edward Bayer officiating. Entombment was in East Lan Mausoleum.</p>
