Information: RIPLEY - Addie Rowena Pierson, 84, of Ripley, died April 23, 2000, in Jackson General Hospital after a short illness.  She was a homemaker and a member of Fairplain Union Church.  Surviving:  husband, John Ward Pierson; son, Charles Albert Pierson of Fairplain; daughter, Jonnie LaVonne Boggess of Given; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.  Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fairplain Union Church with the Rev. Aaron Melhorn officiating.  Burial will be in Fairplain Cemetery.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the church.
