Information: A complication of trouble which followed an attack of whooping cough proved fatal to Lodoris Pickens, eight (8) year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Pickens, of Ripley, last Sunday morning about 3 o'clock.  The funeral services were held at the Baptist Temple on Monday afternoon with Rev. J. R. Withrow in charge and burial was in the Pine Hill cemetery.  The parents and nine (9) brothers and sisters survive. [Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
