  <p>Information: Joseph Edward Pickens, 61, of Harrisburg, Pa., formerly of Ripley, died Tuesday at home.  He was a member of the Baptist church in Harrisburg.  Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Pickens; one son, Joseph Edward, Jr. of Given; three brothers, Shirley of Parkersburg, Guss of Odaville and Darrell of Given; five sisters, Mrs. Thelma Cossin and Mrs. Naoma Flesher of Ripley, Mrs. Velma Board of California, Mrs. Audrey Barnett of Rock Castle and Mrs. Parmalee Edens of St. Albans; and one grandchild.  Services will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Phillip Simons officiating.  Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.  Friends may call after noon today.</p>
