  <p>Information: Mrs. Goldie Parthina Burdette Pickens, 89, of Weirton, formerly of Ripley, died March 23, 1990, in Weirton Medical Center after a long illness.  Surviving:  daughters, Louise Smith and Emma Jane Jones, both of Weirton, Mary Ruth Sutherland of Sandyville; half sister, Donna Snyder of Akron, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lee; stepmother, Leota Burdette; son, William C.; daughters, Wanda Lee Golden and Christine Pickens; five brothers and one sister.  Service was Monday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Orville Walker officiating.  Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery, Roane County.</p>
