  <p>Information: Paul William Petty, 68, of Parkersburg, died November 19, at his residence, following an extended illness.  He was born in Vienna, a son of the late William H. and Mary Belle Vaughan Herald.  He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, and retired from the Penn Metal Division of the Keene Corp. after 34 years of service.  He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.  Surviving:  his wife, Pauline Click Petty; one daughter, Susan Stoops of Parkersburg; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters; two brothers, Francis E. Petty and Robert I. Perry, both of Parkersburg.  He was preceded in deathy by one son, Paul William Petty II; and one brother, John Richard Petty.  Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Parkersburg.  Burial will be in Blaine Memorial Gardens, Jackson County.</p>
