  <p>Information: Arthur Lee Pernell, 42, of Ripley, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 21, 2013, at home following a sudden illness.  He was born August 30, 1970 in Elkhart, Indiana, son of Paul and Pam Kerns Pernell.  He attended Ripley High School and was an asbestos abatement technician in the construction trade.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by son, Christian Pernell of Columbus OH; sisters, Paula Prunty of Ripley, Angela Pernell, with the U. S. Marine Corp, and Sabrina Pernell of Pennsylvania; nephew, Collin Walker; maternal grandfather, Arthur Kerns and his wife, Violet; step-mother, Denise Villareal of Columbus.  Art was preceded in death by Bill Walker, whom he called dad, and maternal grandmother, Iola Kerns.  A celebration of Art&#39;s life will be Saturday, April 27, at 3 pm at Waybright Funeral Home with the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.  Interment will be private.</p>
