Information: Miss Nellie Maria Pepper, 32, of Medina, died Monday afternoon at her home following a long illness. She spent her entire life in the Medina community in Grant District. Funeral arrangements had not been completed Tuesday afternoon. She was born at Medina, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Pepper, who survive. She was a seamstress by occupation and a member of the Medina Methodist Church. Survivors in addition to the parents include two brothers, Clarence Pepper of Uniontown, Ohio and Glen Pepper of Parkersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Hill of Parkersburg and Mrs. Rodney Moore of Rockland. One sister, Edna, preceded her in death. (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection) Pepper, Nellie Maria Nellie Maria, youngest daughter of Samuel E. and Florence Murray Pepper, was born July 12, 1917 and departed this life Sept. 5, 1949, age 32 years, one month and 24 days. She was born and spent the greater part of her life in Jackson County. She leaves to mourn her passing her aged father and mother; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Moore of Rockland, Ohio and Mrs. Margaret Hill of Parkersburg; two brothers, Clarence Pepper of Union Town, Ohio and Glenn Pepper of Parkersburg; two nieces and five nephews.
