  <p>Information: Karen Kate Anderson Pedigo, born April 5, 1939, departed this life, Wednesday, August 28, 2002.  She was born in Jackson County, the daughter of Lora Lemley Anderson and the late William Hugh Anderson.  Karen graduated from Poca High School in 1957.  She attended college in Columbus and was employed by the Gates McDonald Company for 30 years.  She was a member of the Pond Creek Baptist Church.  She was also a member of the ladies auxiliary for the Pond Creek Volunteer Fire Department where she served as secretary.  She is survived by her husband, Johnny W. Pedigo; three step-children; five step-grandchildren; one foster son, Bobby Young; her mother, Lora L. Anderson and her brother, Joseph H. Anderson, Sr.  She was preceded in death by her father; one infant sister; her maternal grandparents, Charles M. and Bertha K. Kester Lemley; and her paternal grandparents, Jefferson D. and Leona Burrows Anderson.  The family would appreciate donations be made to the Pond Creek Baptist Church and the Pond Creek Volunteer Fire Department.  A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 1, at the Pond Creek Baptist Church.</p>
