Information: RIPLEY - John Wesley Pearson, 88, of Ripley, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at his home following a long illness.  Funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, August 22, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Rev. Herman Robinson and Rev. Andy Robinson officiating.  Burial with military graveside rites by American Legion Post 107 will be in the Fairplain Cemetery near Ripley.  Friends called from 6 to 8 pm Friday, August 21, at the funeral home.
