  <p>Information: Raymond Carl Paxton, 78, of Ravenswood, died April 23, 1989 in Jackson General Hospital, after an apparent heart attack.  He was born in Jackson County.  He was a member of North United Methodist Church, Ravenswood. He was retired from the Jackson County Board of Education as a supervisor, with 40 years&#39; service.  He was a retired farmer and a former minister for EUB Church, Ravenswood.  Surviving:  wife, Leah Rowley Paxton; sons, Bill of Akron, Ohio, Keith of Ravenswood, Larry of Ravenna, Ohio; brothers, Teddy and Charles, both of Mansfield, Ohio; sisters, Bernice Reed of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Bessie Houk of Monroe Falls, Ohio; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.  Service will be 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at North United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Donald Pringle officiating.  Burial will be in Ravenswood Cemetery.  Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, is in charge of arrangements.</p>
