Information: Funeral services for John M. Patterson, 62 year old resident of Sandyville, will be held at the Independence church this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment will be in the church cemetery.  Mr. Patterson died at his home there at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning following an illness of some length caused by complications.  He was one of the widely known farmers of the Sandy Valley and was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.  Surviving are his widow, Mary Patterson; three daughters, Mrs. Orna Weekley, of Parkersburg, Mrs. Amy Morehead, of Ravenswood, and Mrs. Edie Koch, of Pittsburgh; one son at home, Glen Patterson; one sister, Minnie Hupp, of Alliance, Ohio; four brothers, Dave Patterson, of Wilding, Henry Patterson, of Ravenswood, Lon Patterson, of Wilmerding, Pa., and Robert Patterson, of Great Bend.
