  <p>Information: James Corbitt Patterson, 87, of Brohard, died Sunday morning in Calhoun General Hospital, Grantsville. He was born in Jackson County,  the son of the late Curtis and Susan Carpenter Patterson.  He was a World War I veteran, a farmer and a member of the Hoy Chapel Methodist Church.  Surviving:  wife, Elva Casto Patterson; daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Isabel) Corra of Vienna; sons, Otis of Vienna, Lavere of Syracuse Ohio, Victor of Waverly, Ohio; brother, Roy of Charleston; 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.  Services were held Tuesday at the Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with the Rev. John E. Allen officiating.  Burial was in King Knob Cemetery in Ritchie County.</p>
