Information: William Everett Parsons, 67 year old resident of Ripley, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home here on Saturday.  He and Mrs. Parsons had just had a lunch and he walked into the living room, sat down in a chair and slumped over and when............him he was dead.  Mr. Parsons was born at Evans on May 22, 1887, a son of A. ? and Nora Battrell Parsons.  He was a veteran of World War I and had lived in Ripley for many years and had been engaged in the general contracting business during most of his active life.  The funeral service was held Monday afternoon from the Vail funeral chapel with Rev. J. Woodrow Burch officiating and the burial was in the Fairplain cemetery.      Survivors include his wife, Verta Chancey Parsons; a son, Woodrow Parsons of Charleston; a brother, James Parsons of Akron; six sisters, Mrs. Emily Simmons of Ripley, Mrs. Susie Windland of Akron, Mrs. Marjorie Parrish of Akron, Mrs. Anna Casto of Akron, Mrs. Alexis Howe of Akron, and Miss Alma Parsons of Ripley.
