Information: REIPLEY RESIDENT CLAIMED MONDAY. Ripley resident and business man Warren King Parsons died Monday morning (Sept. 9, 1973) following a short illness. At the time of his death he was director of the W.Va. Wildlife Assoociation, president of the K and M Corporation, president of the Retired Teachers Association, committeeman of the water shed program and a member of F.M.A.M. Mason Lodge No. 16. He was past Republican State Executive Committeeman, past director of Veterans Education, an early teacher and coach in Jackson and Kanawha Counties, past Sunday School teacher and superintendent at the Calvary United Methodist Church. He was a retired broker and alumnus of Marshall College. He was born August 30, 1904, a son of the late Lovell and Mary King Parsons. Survivors: wife, Madaline Casto Parsons, Ripley; one son, Col. Robert King Parsons, Mountain Home, Idaho; two daughters, Mrs. William (Mollie) Casto, Belpre, Ohio, and Mrs. David (Nancy) Wilson Ravenswood; two brothers, F.W. D. Parsons, Riply, Lovell, Baltimore, O.; one sister, Mrs. D.M. Dorsey, Ripley, ten grandchildren. Services will e held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Calvery United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Fairplain cemetery, with the Rev. William Eaton officating. Friends may call at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley.
