Information: Elizabeth M., the daughter of Levi and Sarah Roush, was born on the 21st day of November 1873, in Mason county, West Virginia, and departed this life on the 25th day of March, 1929, at Ripley.  In very early life she came with her parents to Jackson county where she was best known and where she spent the remainder of a busy, useful life.  On the 26th day of April, 1903, she united in marriage with Charles Holly Board and to this union five children were born; four of whom, Nellie Lee, now Mrs. Lovell M. Parsons, Jr., Lillian Frances, Charles Chester and Selma Virginia, together with her devoted husband survive.  She is also survived by three brothers, W. F. Roush of Ripley, Edd Roush of Mason, and Augustus Roush of Columbus.  The deceased early in life united with the Lutheran Church in Mason county but after her marriage removed her church membership to the Methodist Protestant Church, near her home, where she until the time of passing, lived a consecrated, pious, christian life.      She was a quiet, unasuming woman, devoted to her family and her life was an inspiration to her friends.  Always modest, yet she pushed forward when some service could be rendered and one of the sweetest memories to be treaasured by her family and friends was the tender care she gave her aged and invalid mother.  Her ambition was to serve and help those in need.  It may be truly said that her passing brings to a close a most beautiful and useful life.
