  <p>Information: Waldo C. Parsons, 71, of Cicerone WV, departed this life and was promoted to glory on Saturday, September 14, 2002.  He was born on August 6, 1931, a son of the late Dennis and Iva Parsons.  He was a veteran of the Korean War and a retired construction worker.  He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Wilda M. Parsons; daughter, Gloria Cox of Cottageville; brother, Kenneth Parsons of Syracuse IN; sisters, Marie White of Cicerone, Jean Cox of Harmony, Marlene Shaffer and Iris Shaffer of Elkview, Ferabelle Taylor, Audry Nichols, and Wavie Randolph of Ripley; two grandchildren, Holly Johnson and Justin Cox of Ripley; and four great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Rosalie Payne of Walton WV.  Funeral service will be today (Wednesday, September 18) at 11 a.m. at the Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Rev. Allen Stewart officiating.  Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery, Kentuck.</p>
