  <p>Information: Sylvia Ellen Parsons, 65, of Advent, Jackson County, died Tuesday, May 15, at the Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston after a long illness.  He was born February 19, 1908, at Sissonville, the daughter of the late Alley Jones and Mahala Lanham Jones.  Mrs. Parsons was a member of the Sunlight Baptist Church at Sissonville.  She is survived by husband, Romie Parsons of Advent; one daughter, Mrs. Lola Rhodes of Dunbar; one brother, Ernest Jones of Indiana; six grandchildren, Mrs. Shirley Ramella, Pamela, Donna, Connie, James and Jamie Parsons; one great-grandchild, Kenneth Ramella.  Funeral services are scheuled for Thursday, May 17, at 2 p.m. at the Goshen Baptist Church at Kentuck.  Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery.  Parsons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.</p>
