  <p>Information: Romie Parsons, 92, of Sissonville, formerly of Kentuck, Jackson County, died Sept. 9, 1998, in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after a long illness.  He was a retired farmer, a native of Roane County and attended Wolfe Valley Church, Roane County.  Surviving:  daughter, Lola Rhodes of Sissonville; sister, Tressie Kiser of Chesapeake; brothers, Zollie Parsons of Kenna, Holley Parsons of Charleston; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.  Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, with the Rev. Oris Harper officiating.  Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery, Kentuck.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.</p>
