  <p>Information: Rolley S. Parsons, 88, of Gay, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 1988, at Jackson General Hospital, after a brief illness.  He was born at Gay, a son of the late Squire and Jeanette Staats Parsons.  He was retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways, a retired U. S. Mail carrier and a member of the Gay United Brethren Church. He is survived by one son, Bobby Parsons of Liverpool; three daughters, Laurada Knopp of Parkersburg, Jo Ann Comer of Ravenswood, and Pansy Miller of Millwood; one brother, Tony Parsons of Parkersburg; 20 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora McCarty Parsons.  Service was Tuesday at Parsons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Jones officiating.  Burial was in the Parsons Cemetery, Gay.</p>
