Information: Rolla R. Parsons, 79, of Evans, died Sunday, Sept. 17, in the Jackson General Hospital after a short illness.  He was born in Parchment, W. Va., the son of the late Franklin and Ida Kessell, and was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and a retired farmer.  Survivors include his wife, Mary Parsons; two sons, Raymond of Elliton, Fla., and Camden of Ravenswood; two sisters, Mrs. Elva Canter and Mrs. Flora Hoult of Evans.  Services were held Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the Casto Funeral Home in Evans with the Rev. William Eaton officiating and burial in the Otterbein Cemetery.
