  <p>Information: CHARLESTON - Robert Vernon Parsons, 62, of Route 6, Charleston, passed away June 16, 2004, at his camp on Frame Road, Elkview, following a long illness.  He was a member of the Laborers Union Local 1353.  He was a Christian and attended the United Christian Church at Simmons Creek.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jarrett Parsons, step-father, Kenneth Parrish and a sister, Brenda Parsons.         He is survived by his wife, Mary Mullins Parsons; daughters, Kristina Parsons and Abigail and Brianna Priddy, all of Charleston; sons, Bobby and Jarrett Parsons, both of Charleston; mother, Aulene Parsons Parrish of Sandyville; sister, Viola Litton of Fairplain, Violet Barr of Leon, Gladys Bergdorf of Gay; brother, Lee Parsons of Roane County; and four grandchildren, Hannah, Victoria, Grace and Christian Parsons.  Funeral services were held Saturday, June 19, 2004, at the United Christian Church at Simmons Creek with the Reverend Zack Hunt, the Reverend Paul Jameson, and the Reverend Billie Mullins officiating.  Burial followed in the Parsons Family Cemetery, Route 6, Charleston.  Stevens and Grass Funeral Home, Malden was in charge of arrangements.</p>
