  <p>Information:      Richard O. Parsons was born April 12, 1958, departed this life March 15, 1930 at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 3 days.  He was united in marriage to Elsie C. Anderson December 16, 1880, who preceded him to the great beyond July 21, 1917.  To this union were born 12 children, six having preceded him in death.  He is survived by the following children:  E.E. Parsons, of Lancaster, Ohio, Cloyd Parsons, Akron, Ohio, H.F. Parsons of Ripley and C.A.. Parsons of  Philoah, Mrs. Corda Parsons, Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Cloyd Painter of Given and 15 grandchildren, besides six brothers L.F.Parsons,  O.J. Parsons and L.M. Parsons, of Ripley, J.B. Parsons of Rockcastle, A.L. Parsons, of Parkersburg, and O.D. Parsons of Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Elison of Ripley and Mrs. Jane Kessel of Given. He was converted and joined the U.B. church at Mt. Olive a number of years ago.  Having lived a devoted Christian until God called him home.  But our loss is heaven&#39;s gain.  The floral tributes were very beautiful. </p>
