Information:      Pauline Louise Schoonover  Parsons, 94, of Ripley passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Ravenswood Care Center following a long illness.  She was born March 7, 1918, in Elkhurst, a daughter of the late Winson and Ruth Davis Schoonover.  She was a graduate of Clay County High School and Morris Harvey College, where she earned her teaching degree.  She was a retired school teacher; 50-year member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Ripley; and a 50-year member of the Homemakers Club.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing and crocheting, and working outside.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Morley Q. Parsons, brothers; Ralph, Hubert, Arch, Worshell, Dan and Winson Schoonover, Jr.; and sisters, Christine Williams, Dessell Harold, Goldie Blake and Sylvia Shamblem.   She is survived by a son, Ralph Parsons o Ripley; a daughter, Janet Ball of Woodstock, Ga.; sister Kathleen Bowen of Cross Lanes; her grandchildren, Julie Henderson, Carrie LaVette and Taran Parsons Wolford; and great-chrandchildren, Jeffery and Jacob Henderson and Cameron nd Devon LaVette.  Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with the Rev. Charles Hicks officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Given.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the Morley Parsons Scholarship Fund, Calvary United Methodist Church, 205 Court Street, Ripley, WV  25271.
