Information: Marcellus M. Parsons, 80, died at 4:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at his home in Vienna.  He had suffered a fall Saturday but was able to be up again.  His death occured suddenly as a result of a heart attack. Mr. Parsons was a farmer and civil engineer. He was born in Jackson county.  During the past six years he had made his home with T. R. Eaton, 204 Hammat Avenue, Vienna. He leaves a brother, Richard Parsons of Gay, a sister Mrs. E. L. Matthews of Reedy and another sister in Washington, D. C.  One sister, Mrs. Frank Wolfe preceded him in death. She was the mother of Gay Wolfe.  Funeral services were held at the Lowther church near Ripley.
