Information:      Macie Ann Ray Parsons, 83, of Spencer, formerly of Harmony, died August 13, at the Roane General Hospital, Spencer, following a brief illness.  She was born November 20, 1908, in Belgrove, WV, a daughter of the late Okey and Elizabeth Coon Ray.  She was homemaker and a member of the Fairview Methodist Church.  Surviving:  three daughters, Emogene DeWeese and Verla Myers, both of East Canton, Ohio, and Geraldine DeWeese of Ripley; three sons, Charles Shouldis and Sherman Parsons, both of Harmony, and Eugene Parsons of Spencer; one stepson, Burton Parsons of Ripley; two brothers, Ross Ray of Charleston and Mosie Ray of Harmony; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Shouldis; second husband, Russell Cleo Parsons; two sons, Kenneth Parsons and Carl Leo Shouldis; one granddaughter; two sisters, Stella Raines and Jeannie Skeens; two brothers, Averial Ray and Roy Ray; and one half- sister, Ada Jones. Service will be 11 a.m.,at Vandale Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roger Flesher and Rev. Freddie Harper officiating.  Burial will be in Ferrell Cemetery, near Harmony.
